Cabin Rental Cancellation Policy

Please review our cancellation policy below before booking your cabin.

In the event that you need to cancel your booking reservation, the following cancellation fees may be applicable:

  1. We will refund your full payment, minus a $50 cancellation fee, if you notify us a minimum of 15 days prior to your booking start date, with the exception of mandated closures under public health orders, see #3 in this case. Bookings cancelled at least 7 days in advance will receive a credit to book to stay with us at another time within 12 months of the original booking date. Bookings cancelled less than 7 days in advance will not be entitled to receive a refund or credit.
  2. No-shows & late arrivals are not eligible for a refund. You can check-in no later than 9pm.
  3. COVID-19/ Emergency Business Closures: In the event that the Government of Nova Scotia mandates further emergency business closures in the future, or extreme weather, refunds will not be available for cancelled bookings. Vouchers will be given instead for use within 12 months of the booking start date.

To cancel your reservation please email [email protected] as soon as possible. If you are eligible for a refund, you should see the amount applied as a credit to the credit/debit card that was used at the time of booking, approximately 5-10 business days later, depending upon the bank that issued your card.  Refunds will be issued through our payment processor, and can only be issued to the original payment method used to place your booking order. It is not possible to send a refund to a different destination (e.g., another card or bank account). Refunds to expired or canceled cards are handled by your card issuer. A $50 cancellation fee applies to all cancelled bookings.
