Coming Soon: Four Season Wilderness Camping Cabins in the Beautiful Hills of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
Explore the back country on Cape Breton Island from one of our five fully insulated and heated off-grid camping cabins. We are located directly on the largest recreational trail in the world, The Great Trail (aka the TransCanada Trail).
Just 4.25km off the TransCanada Hwy 105 in Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia, at 260 meters above sea level, we are the perfect home base for exploring the Cape Breton Highlands. Whether you are hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, riding or sledding - you'll enjoy the groomed trails at our door step! The Snowmobile Association of Nova Scotia's #104 Trail passes right through our property. Park your road vehicle, set-up camp and be on the trails in no time.
Construction of our fully serviced common kitchen, lounge, and male and female washrooms/showers is currently underway. A short stroll from the main lodge, you'll find our comfortable camping cabins tucked into the woods. Each insulated and heated cabin contains a queen bed and one set of single bunks with pillows (bring your own linens/sleeping bags or rent them from us). Each cabin also has a prep table, dining table for four, and BBQ grill with side burner on the covered porch, complete with deck chairs and an LED lantern for jaunts to the washroom. Bring your favourite camp gear and tuck in for a peaceful evening before heading out on your next adventure! Each site has a picnic table and fire pit for evening entertainment. Camping cabins are unserviced - electricity, washrooms and water is available in the main lodge for your convenience. Cell phone service is available at our location. Rates start at $135/night.
